At Lil Doggie Den, we’re building more than just a daycare — we’re creating a safe, enriching space where little dogs can feel secure, relaxed, and truly at home. That’s why we’re intentional about who joins our community.
We don’t accept every dog, and that’s not about being exclusive — it’s about protecting the environment we work hard to maintain. Our space is designed specifically for dogs 25 lbs and under, and we do everything we can to ensure that every pup who walks through our doors feels safe and supported.
That said, we know dogs are dogs — and reactivity can happen. We don’t expect perfection. What we do expect is a level of behavior and energy that fits with our group. We use Fear Free handling methods at all times, and that means no harsh corrections or aversive tools. Instead, we rely on gentle leads, redirection, and when necessary, short separations to help dogs reset.
Our Den is uniquely set up with multiple play areas, so we can group dogs by temperament and activity level. Whether your pup is high-energy and playful or more of a couch potato, we have the flexibility to make sure they’re placed in a group that’s right for them.
At the end of the day, our goal is simple: to provide a space where your little dog can thrive — not just “get through the day.” And that starts with being honest about what dogs are the right fit for our pack.
If you’re unsure if your pup would be a good match, we’d love to talk more and schedule an evaluation. Every dog is different, and we’re here to help you find what works best for yours.
